Paul Larson "My father, H. Clarence Larson, built the CHAPEL OF THE HIGHLANDS Funeral Home and operated it from the time he opened on
October 5, 1952,...and since he has passed it on to me. Over the years, CHAPEL OF THE HIGHLANDS has become a landmark here in Millbrae and we have earned an excellent reputation on the peninsula. I truly want you to know that we sincerely want to give you the best help possible, and to care for your family as if it were our own.

Take care, from Paul Larson, President."

Purple
Flowers Why choose CHAPEL OF THE HIGHLANDS above other mortuaries on the peninsula?

  • We are a 100% independent, family owned and operated, funeral chapel and we can pass that advantage on to the families we care for...

  • We've been giving personalized service and the highest quality of care to tens of thousands of families since we first opened in 1952...

  • Our good reputation has been earned over the years and is highly respected on the Peninsula, the Bay Area and California...

  • Since we're a smaller, family operated mortuary, we can give families the kind of personal attention and care that is difficult for larger operations or funeral homes owned by corporations to give...

  • If you compare our costs to other mortuaries or cremation societies, you will find that we strive to fairly offer the lowest possible cost while giving the highest level of service to the families we care for...

  • The families we serve are never required to pay for unnecessary "membership fees" that cremation societies unfortunately do require...

  • We will help to make it easy for you to pre-plan a complete traditional funeral or a low cost cremation service...

  • We offer very easy to arrange pre-paid Funeral trust accounts, including "California Master Trust" which can help to avoid the financial burden on your surviving family...

  • We're very proud of our highly qualified staff. We truly do care about the people in our community and sincerely want to help your family, if it's ever necessary...

  • We are always on call and will do our best to assist you 24 hours a day...

  • We are proud to receive regular compliments about our bright and beautiful facilities. When compared to others, you will find that we offer a much more inviting and comfortable atmosphere, much like a beautifully decorated home...

  • We are also proud of our carefully cared for automotive equipment which we also receive regular compliments on...

  • We are conveniently located at the heart of the peninsula, mid way between San Francisco and Santa Clara County, 5 minutes from San Francisco International Airport.
