The following service packages are available with the purchase of any casket or alternative container from the CHAPEL OF THE HIGHLANDS inventory. These service packages are offered at a discount and cost less than if itemized from the breakdown on page 4 of the main General Price List. Therefore, any items declined cannot be deducted from the package. However, you may add additional items from the itemized breakdown at their actual cost. If you do not want certain items offered with a packaged service, you have the option of selecting only those items you desire as listed on the General Price List at their actual cost without any discount offered. Funeral Packages may also accommodate cremation.

STANDARD TRADITIONAL FUNERAL ~ Accommodates Burial or Cremation (

This “2 day” package includes the non-declinable service fee, local removal during regular business hours, embalming or care of unembalmed remains, dressing, cosmetizing, and casketing of remains, use of available facilities & staff for 1^st day visitation, use of available facilities & staff or off site for 2^nd day ceremony, funeral coach to local cemetery, family limousine (local), procurement vehicle, memorial register and acknowledgement cards, religious accouterments and pallbearer items. It does not include—permit filing fees, certified copies, consular fees, clergy honoraria, musician’s gratuities, newspaper notices, casket or sales taxes, etc. Items not listed may be added at their actual value. This package is discounted for those who select their casket and funeral merchandise from the CHAPEL OF THE HIGHLANDS inventory ^{( 3)}

Standard 3 Day *	All inclusive professional services listed as “Standard Traditional Funeral” (above) plus an additional day for visitations.
Standard 2 Day *	All inclusive professional services listed as “Standard Traditional Funeral” (above) customary 1 visitation day and 1 funeral day.
Standard 1 Day *	All inclusive professional services listed as “Standard Traditional Funeral” (above) condensed and scheduled all into the same day.

DISTINCTIVE FUNERAL ~ Several Accommodate Burial or Cremation (

Simple 2 Day *	Includes most professional services listed as “Standard Traditional Funeral” (above) 1 day visitation/1 day funeral (Limo not included).
Simple 1 Day *	Includes most professional services listed as “Standard Traditional Funeral” (above) condensed into the same day (Limo not included).
Basic 1 Day **	Includes many professional services listed as “Standard Traditional Funeral” (above) without embalming, dressing or viewing of remains. Brief (3 hour) closed casket visitation in small Chapel followed by procession to (or meeting at) cemetery for graveside service (Limo not included).
Basic **	Includes many professional services listed as “Standard Traditional Funeral” (above) without embalming, dressing or viewing of remains. Meet at cemetery for closed casket graveside service (Limo not included).
Custom *	Combination of individual professional service fee breakdown items listed on page 4 of the main GPL necessary to customize a funeral as to your specific wishes and needs. (Items must be added to the non-declinable “basic service fee”. We will advise you of all legal necessities and requirements).

IMMEDIATE BURIAL

Direct Burial packages include local transfer of remains during regular business hours, procurement and tending vehicles, services of staff, and delivery to local cemetery. This charge does not include casket or container (unless stated), merchandise, viewing of remains, ceremonies, embalming/refrigeration, taxes or fees. IMMEDIATE CREMATION

Direct Cremation packages include local transfer of remains during regular business hours, procurement and tending vehicles, services of staff, and delivery to local crematory. This charge does not include casket or container (unless stated), merchandise, viewing of remains, ceremonies, embalming, crematory fees and applicable taxes.

Human remains are required to be cremated in a container necessary for handling, transport and sanitary purposes. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can select an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without and outside covering). ANCILLARY ITEMS

*Memorial Service*	Use of facilities and staff for a Memorial Service at our Chapel in circumstances when a cremation or burial was performed by an outside organization.
*Facility Cleaning*	We reserve the right to charge a fee in relation to certain funeral service circumstances which may arise that necessitate the cleaning of our facilities.
*Consulate Coordinations*	Includes coordination with Consulate for transport of remains outside of the U.S., preparation and retrieval of required documentations and requested State declarations, procurement vehicle (does not include Consulate or State fees).
*Scattering of Cremains at Sea*	If cremated remains are not placed in a cemetery or taken home you may have us scatter them for you at sea (no one in attendance and at our convenience).
*Motorcycle Escorts*	Costs are per motorcycle and dependent upon projected estimated number of vehicles in funeral procession and distance to cemetery.
*Identification of Remains*	When necessary it may be possible under certain circumstances to allow and make preparations for a brief (10 minute) identification of un-embalmed remains by the next-of-kin only (dependent upon the condition of remains and upon our professional recommendation whether it is at all possible).
*Care and Sheltering for Holding Purposes*	If circumstances necessitate remains to be maintained for an extended period of time at the Chapel of the Highlands for whatever reason, legal or personal (charged per each 24 hour day after the 3^rd day under our supervision).
